February 5, 2014 Dear Parents: Today is the last meeting day for the Wednesday Math Club. I am asking these 12 students to come either on Tuesday (smaller group) or on Wednesday. My services are needed on Wednesday afternoons, and I felt these 12 students could blend easily into one of these other days. They can begin the new day next week, but please realize we are in competition mode. If your student has not been participating in competitions, then he/she might want to take a break for a few weeks. We are 100% focused on qualifying for the State TMSCA Competition in San Antonio on April 5. The students are working on number sense, calculator, general math and/or general science. Any questions, please contact Mrs. Curtice. Thank you for understanding. Sincerely, Mrs. Curtice Monday Math Club – will meet at regular time. Tuesday Math Club – will meet but end at 5:00 to allow time to prepare for the GT Academy night of visitation for prospective 5th graders.
